5 Effective makeup tricks for Full acne coverage

A pimple on your forehead or nose is enough reason for worrying just before a party or a date, so you can’t even imagine going out with acne marks on your face. This is when, and why, you’ll love your makeup kit now more than ever. You’ll thank yourself for buying those makeup essentials and stocking them up because they’re going to give you the perfect, flawless skin you’ve been yearning for. All you need is a few makeup tricks and no one will ever find out about your acne.

  1. Clean and moisturize your face

One thumb rule to follow for good makeup A clean face Wash your face with an antibacterial face-wash and pat dry. Use a gel-based moisturizer to hydrate your skin so that it can serve as the perfect base for your makeup. The reason for using a gel-based moisturizer is that it has a non-greasy and quick-absorbing formula, perfect for acne-prone skin.

  1. Apply A Primer

If you want your makeup to look smooth and last long, you should consider using a primer. You can use a cream or gel-based primer, depending on what suits your skin the best. Use your fingertips to apply it all over your face and especially on the acne scars. With light strokes, gently blend in the primer till it looks smooth. Don’t apply too much pressure as you might end up irritating your skin.

  1. Use A Concealer

As the name suggests, a concealer will help you hide your blemishes and provide full coverage. Apply concealer on the affected areas of your face and gently blend them with the pads of your fingertips. If you’ve dark circles or skin patches, you can use the concealer to achieve a uniform look. Once done, take a clean tissue and lightly dab it on your face to remove excess makeup

     4.Apply A Liquid Foundation

Always use a foundation that suits your skin tone so that your face doesn’t stand out from the rest of your body. You could also use Kaya’s CC cream as it hides blemishes without making your face look cakey. Take a stippling brush and apply the foundation in light, round motions on your face, and be careful to not wipe off the concealer you just applied. Use a drop of foundation in the beginning and you can build it later on.

5.Set Your Makeup

Let the foundation sit for a few minutes before you can apply some loose powder on your face. You can use a fluffy powder brush for this purpose but ensure you don’t end up using too much powder. Lastly, apply some mascara, play with your eye shadows, and give a pop of colour to your lips to look your fabulous best.

The trick to good makeup is to select the right products for your skin and be a little patient while applying them. So, the next time you need to hide your acne before heading out with your friends, just use the steps mentioned above and you’ll have a flawless face in no time at all.
